Dempsey Store in North York was once a hardware store at Yonge Street and Sheppard Avenue built in 1860. The historic store was moved and restored as a historic site further north at 250 Beecroft Avenue in 1997. The site is maintained by Toronto Parks and the North York Historical Society.
