Demond Mallet

Demond Mallet (born February 22, 1978, in Leesville, Louisiana) is an American professional basketball player that currently plays professionally with ACB club Joventut Badalona. He is a 6'2" guard. As of 2008, Mallet has won a German Championship, a German Cup title, Uleb Cup, and recently won the prestigious Spanish King's Cup with the team Joventut Badalona.

Mallet played high school basketball at Leesville High, after which he enrolled at McNeese State University and was NCAA Division 1 All-American Honorable Mention 2001. He was also named Southland Conference Player of the Year (2000-2001).

Mallet played most of his career so far in Germany at the Bundesliga, the country's premier basketball league.
