The Demon Mole Rat (Tachyoryctes daemon) is a species of rodent in the Spalacidae family. It is found in Kenya and Tanzania. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montanes, moist savanna, subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland, and arable land.
