The Democratic State Central Committee of Connecticut is the local branch of the Democratic Party in the state of Connecticut. The current state chair of the party is Nancy DiNardo, the Vice Chair is state Rep. Steve Fontana. The Democratic Party controls both chambers of the state house. Democrats are led in the upper house by Senate President Don Williams, and Speaker James Amann in the House.
