DEMO is a Russian techno group, formed in March of 1999.

March of 1999 Alexandra Zvereva a student of the Moscow Linguistic University; listening to station 2000 hears an announcement that a soloist is urgently being sought for a new project. She had long dreamed of becoming an artist. At the hearing Alexandra Zvereva was chosen and signed a contract.
May of 1999 two the songs are recorded "The Sun/Солнышко" and “2000 years/2000 лет”. The look of the CD falls to Polyakov, he simply used a black marker and wrote DEMO.
June-August of 1999 "The Sun/Солнышко" and "2000 years" are played on nearly every radio station in Russia as the group begins to go on tour.
September of 1999 DEMO signs contract with the firm "ARS". The group produces a video for "The Sun/Солнышко".
October of 1999 The video “The Sun/Солнышко” reaches first place on Russia's top ten MTV and holds the position for a number of weeks.
November 1999 the dancer Masha Zheleznyakova leaves the group not having enough time to complete her studies in the Plekhanov academy. Dancer Daniel Polyakov leaves to pursue a modeling career. Vadim Polyakov quickly finds two replacements Anya Zajzeva and Pavel Penyaev. Alexandra Zvereva and the two new members quickly become friends.[1]
January 2000 DEMO goes on their first tours abroad.
March 2000 – the song is recorded “I make Inhalation/Я делаю вдох”.
May 2000 – Video is made for the song “All simply..!/Все просто..!”
June 2000 DEMO releases the new album of remixes "DEMO DJ REMIX 2000”.
September 2000 Released new video “Above the sky/Выше неба”.[2]
March 9 2001 The night club “City/Город”, hosted the presentation of new album “Above the sky/Выше неба”.
April 2001 The video for “Strange Sleeps/Странные сны” was released.
May 2001 The producer Dmitriy Postovalov leaves the group.
August 2001 The song "Until the Morning/До утра" is recorded.
December 2001 DEMO ends contract with the firm "ARS". The group writes one additional new composition "Song for You".[3]
January 2002 DEMO cancels contract with "ARS".
February 2002 Tours through America.
April 2002 Vadim Polyakov and Sasha Zvereva sign a 3 year contract between themselves. DEMO ends contract with B -Funky production. Video filmed for "shower/Дождик" in St. Petersburg.
May 2002 the premier of the video "Shower/Дождик" took place on the DEMO web site.
June 2002 The song "Do Not Depart/Не уходи" is recorded.
August 2002 The last song for new album recorded "Good-bye, summer/ До свидания, лето".
September 2002 Released the new album "Good-bye, summer/ До свидания, лето ".
October 2002 The webmaster Mikhail Lapis leaves. Group tours in America.
November 2002 They tour in Germany.[4]
April 2003 DEMO participates in a traditional first-of-May May-meeting
June July 2003 Tour in Germany is canceled.
August 2003 DEMO announces a new album; expected in the fall of 2003. 7 songs are already recorded.
September 2003 Sasha Zvereva announces she is pregnant.
October 2003 New song "New Years Goes!/Новый год идет!" is written.
November 2003 DEMO films video for the song "New Years Goes!/Новый год идет!"
December 2003 Sasha Zvereva’s daughter is born.[5]
April 2004 DEMO releases their fifth album "Rainbow/Радуга".
June 2004 Group tours in Germany with 13 concerts.
October 2004 Demo announces the release of a collection of the best songs.[6]
January 2005 The premiere of the new song "Not with You/Не с тобой"
February 2005 DEMO presents the new collection of their best songs by the name "This show business, Baby/Это шоу-Бизнес, Baby".[7]
