[edit] Comment on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/John McGrady
I am the closing admin. I will be interested in the commentary that ensues here. Irrelevant to the outcome of this review but relevant in regard to my standing as an admin, which any deletion review can be used to call into question, I point out that this closure was conducted during a period when I altered my closure style by taking a broader view on articles rather than treating the debate as a closed circuit; I have since reverted to a less interpretive stance. I will further point out that the first course that I would have appreciated being taken was for the Deletion Review nominator to contact me on my talk page (not done) to point out where they believed I was in error. That course assumes good faith. Rather, the Deletion Review nominator informed me of this action without further commentary. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 12:16, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
