Wikipedia talk:Deletion review/Log/2007 August 29

I consider the Deletion review regarding User:Rickyrab/New bad jokes and other deleted nonsense to be a verbal slap to my face, and I was not at the time trying to defy consensus or recreate deleted content. Get the facts straight before debating stuff. Furthermore, mind if I point out that a "consensus" with a vocal minority adamantly disagreeing is not really a consensus? — Rickyrab | Talk 18:40, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

Ahem. I now see that what was going on was an attempt to differentiate what some saw as a recreation of what some of the admins consider to be a deleted or finished project from other material. Nonetheless, deleting the earlier pages - the ones others made - wasn't exactly according to consensus, as no consensus had been reached in that area. (By the way, I disagree with the assertion that the MfD was actually able to end the project - it merely shifted BJAODN to an off-Wikipedia location, possibly multiple locations, rather than ending BJAODN. Therefore, all celebrations and lamentings of the death of BJAODN are premature. I have said this before.) — Rickyrab | Talk 19:02, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
