[edit] Template:spa on Talk:Sons of Ben (MLS fan club)

Hi. {{spa}} is for tagging single-purpose-accounts in debates (such as WP:XfD, WP:RfA and so on), as I mentioned in my previous edit summary. Taken from WP:SPA#Handling and advice:

"In communal decision-making, single purpose accounts suspected of astroturfing or vote stacking will sometimes have a tag added below their name, as an aid to those discussing or closing the debate. Please do not take this as an attack on your editing, some users just find it easier to discuss issues when it is clear who the new editors are."

None of that applies to the talk page post you added it to. A huge number of editors (myself and yourself included) make their first ever edits on a talk page. This is a legitimate use of accounts. Dreaded Walrus t c 15:01, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
