Editor review
Hi, i'd just like to thank you for a very informative/constructive review, i believe i've learnt a lot from it and would just like to say thanks for helping me improve myself as a wikipedian. thanks :) Thatperson 20:49, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
Me too, same again! (I wasn't going for an Adminship though)Thanx Andrew Marsden 17:45, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for the editor review!
Concise and helpful, cheers SGGH 12:18, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
- I know you pointed out my problem of repeated comment adding on talk pages, but this is the last one! I was pleased with your comments regarding AfD, and will take your suggestions to heart, I have replied on the editor review itself if you would like to check it out? SGGH 12:27, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
- Cheers again, my mulitple talk page thing is normally because I think of something else to say! I've got it to prompt me now for blank edit summaries, though it doesn't do it for talk pages? (lets see)... oh no it does SGGH 17:14, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
RfA
So do you think I could make an RFA someday? If I address my edit summary (have done that, it prods me each time i edit now) and begin RC patrolling (I've started doing that, as well as continuing the new page patrol I was doing already), I've also archived my talk page like you suggested, my email was already linked in... I think those were the points you made? Regards, SGGH 18:18, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
- That's a very insightful reply, thankyou! I've taken all your points to heart, and I was planning to wait a while anyway but your reasons makes sense also. I will take a look at that WP:XFD thing, but when you say " active project participation, e.g. at WP:HD, WP:VP" what do you mean exactly? SGGH 19:34, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
I have done some military history wikiproject contribution aswell, and have recently be creating articles here there and everywhere when iv been coming across red links. Ill have a look at both areas you suggested. Cheers again SGGH 11:04, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

Delldot, thank you for your kind offer re: editor reviews. As you saw the review was pulled after about four days due to lack of response and now I sorry but am out of time to reinitiate it. re: my editor review
I appreciate the comments you left on my editor review! I would like to clear up a few misunderstandings:
- Rv v: I tend to use Vandalproof many times, so that would explain my automated messages. Since the time when I started receiving complaints from some anons about my reversions, I decided to cease using Vandalproof until I think I am capable of reverting vandalism at such a quick pace. Right now, I just monitor my watchlist with popups.
- Block: I once got into a complex conflict with Chacor after a conflict in Talk:Esperanza with Ral315. That was a very complicated situation.
- Wikibreak: I put myself on semi-Wikibreak because of the semester exams I have next week. I still edit in Wikipedia talk/Talk namespaces, mostly for participating in discussion/debate. When my exams are over, I plan on returning to "normal" and frequently edit articles.
Other than that, I thank you for your advice given to me regarding RfA, but I don't plan on going for it in the near future. I'm currently too busy with school activities going on, and I feel that I wouldn't be able to use my admin tools well.--Ed ¿Cómo estás?Reviews? 05:21, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

Hey,
Thanks for pointing that out. I would like to fix it, but I am afraid I don't know how. I thought I did it the right way. However I guess I didn't. Do you know how I could fix this? Mystify85JEC 21:04, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

Wow..it doesn't seem like I'm the only one who appreciates your reviewing ^.^
Well, I just wanted to say thanks. I've read it quite a bit, and I'm thinking of implementing a few of your suggestions. Just have a question, though..
You noted that I should include edit summaries. I'm a bit confused by that. What should I include in the summary box?
But thanks anyhow! VelocityEX 22:51, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

Those edits were both over 8 months ago, and I'm kind of ashamed of what I did on Pretty Baby. I've done a lot more WP:MOSDAB enforcement since then. I didn't bother with warnings on the two you cited because one was over a month old and the other was several days old from an otherwise inactive IP. Either way it didn't seem likely to help any. My RFA
Hey, thanks so much for supporting my recent RFA. A number of editors considered that I wasn't ready for the mop yet and unfortunately the RFA did not succeed (69/26/11). There are a number of areas which I will be working on (including changing my username) in the next few months in order to allay the fears of those who opposed my election to administrator.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you sincerely for your support over the past week. I've been blown away by the level of interest taken in my RFA and appreciate the time and energy dedicated by all the editors who have contributed to it, support, oppose and neutral alike. I hope to bump into you again soon and look forward to serving you and Wikipedia in any way I can. Cheers! Hello,
Yes, i know the guidelines; that is why I didn't want anyone to delete it yet because i'm still researching to find out if i can find enough of the right kind of publications to meet the guidelines. I'm not sure how long that will take but I hope it will be done before it is deleted. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.210.149.163 (talk) 07:04, 16 January 2007 (UTC).
RE: My editor review
Thanks for commenting on my editor review. I have a couple of queries about how to improve my standing in a future RfA:
- I've been patrolling new pages and started/commented on several AfDs; do these count as edits to the WP namespace, and are they helpful in improving my RfA standing? Should I also try and 'diversify' with other kinds of WP namespace tasks?
- More importantly, what kind of answer should I put to q1 of the RfA? I still don't get exactly what kind of thing the community is looking for.
- Generally, have I been doing enough on technical/WP tasks rather than purely content-related edits?
Walton monarchist89 09:20, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry to keep bothering you, but I have another question - it's about speedy deletes. As you know I do a lot of newpage-patrolling and AfDs - but when I add a speedy tag to an article, and the article is subsequently deleted, it disappears from my contribs page. Does this mean it won't count towards my edit count in RfA, and if so, does this mean I should focus on things other than speedy deletes? Walton monarchist89 13:26, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
-
- Just one more question, this time not directly related to RfA. Did I do the right thing here? A newbie created a page (Clifford Orwin) who I found to be non-notable per WP:PROF. I didn't want to scare away the user in question, since the article was very well written. Was I tactful enough, and is there an approved/standard method for dealing with situations like this? Lol, you didn't scare me off. I just don't know that much about neuroscience! Thank you for your help on these articles! Anyway, what got me started on working on a few of these pages is that I was doing research on different drugs like DXM and ketamine, and I noticed that these articles were just poorly written and poorly referenced. Having no formal instruction about neuroscience, I just decided to use PubMed to find a few abstracts of medical research on these drugs so that there could be some REAL information on these pages. Anyway, I'm very happy to contribute what I can to these sites, since I think Wikipedia is absolutely the ONLY place to get reliable, balanced information on psychoactive drugs. Thanks a lot for your help! Jolb 05:13, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

RFA
Hey Delldot,
After you and I discussed my possible RFA one day, I wanted to drop you a line again and talk about how I'm doing having now implemented the changes you suggested, lets see:
- I now to both RC patrol and New Pages patrol regularly, added AFD's, reverting vandalism, warning vandals, fixing dodgy edits, helping article out, etc.
- I have one official (though quiet) and one unofficial (and busy) adopted user.
- I contribute to the Village Pump sections, helping users and answering questions where I can.
- I have just begun involving myself with deletion debates.
- I've begun to seperate my talk page edit count from my article edit count, I have worked hard on a couple of recent articles (you can see on my user page) and I have recently topped 1000 article edits and 3000 overall edits.
However:
- Recently, I was asked to involve myself in a dispute between two users. One user was vandalising an article in the wikiproject I run (WP:LE) repeatedly by removing maintenance tags, and I warned him for this. He also attacked both myself and the other user involved more than once. I tried to remain impartial and handle it as best I could, but sometimes I worry about how close I may have come to violating WP:KETTLE, and whether I was as impartial as I could have been, and the user I warned now has a passage on his user page deploring my actions.
I've stayed away from that though as he is entitle to his own opinion, though I believe I handled things correctly. I'm not planning to let past conflicts affect things, as the user has now joined WP:LE, and i infact thanked him for some sharp legal concerns regarding the project logo, I'm just concerned that this might hamper a future RFA? SGGH 23:35, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

-
- Oh yes, and my edit summary is 100% now, at least when im provided a box to put one in, thanks to that prompter, though my habit of double editing talk pages when I think of something else is still with me, lol! SGGH 23:36, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

If you look at User talk:Patchbook, my talk page, as well as the talk page of Police patch collecting and the Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Law Enforcement/Archive 2 and this removal of content by Patchbook, as well as the history of that page, you should find most of the comments made by myself, patchbook and other involved users, which were User:Kintetsubuffalo and User:Ginkgo100. The whole thing weaved its way through those pages. I have to say I had the support of the other members of the project so I don't think I could have been to far in the wrong.
I also appreciate your comments regarding appearign to try too hard for an RFA, I'm just thinking of my option,s i hope it doesn't come across too much like you described. Cheers :) SGGH

-
- Regarding your comments re: the conflict. I agree with everything you say, and will certainly take your points to heart so I can handle any future problems better. Just to clarify, his issues with the article has already been expressed to another user when i arrived on the scene, as I had been contacted specifically becauce someone had been repeatedly removing the tags. And I tried to show him that helpful contributions would be welcome also, and specifically encouraged him when he joined the WP:LE after the incident had washed over, and also when he was investigating the legality of the logo (albeit I suggested to him that deleting the logo from the wikiprojects pages without any prior discussion wasn't the best way to go about things). Anywho, I appreciate that you think I handled things okay, and will fine tune my responses in future as per your suggestions. Cheers SGGH 22:43, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
-
- After thinking about your assessment of my handling of the situation, I left a small apology on Patchbook's page. While I know I didn't handle it badly, I felt it best to give him an apology as I could have handled it a little better. Cheers Delldot, SGGH 22:57, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
Lol, cheers. Though it wasn't totally without profit, as I need him for the project, he knows alot :D SGGH 23:01, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

Help?
Hi. It is Sean Wolfington. I wanted to ask you for your help regarding the page for the movie i made, Bella(film), There has been a sign on the page for a while saying that the article is like a press release. I did not start this article, nor did anyone involved in making the movie - i did add links to articles from legitamate sources like the Hollywood Reporter, ABC, FOX etc... Is it possible to remove this banner? Thank you again for all your help. By the way, the director of our film was honored by the Dept of Immigration at the White house for being a postive role model as an imigrant who became a US citizen. he was also invited by the first lady to attend the state of the union address as a result. There are a number of articles written about the award and the state of the union. For example, here is a USA TODAY article: http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2007-01-23-sotu-guests_x.htm?csp=34 and here is a NY Times article: http://www.nytimes.com/imagepages/2007/01/23/washington/24scene_graphic.html If you look at the graphic, he is number 12. I think it would be something good to add but i want to do it correctly. The stories have been published in many places. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks 76.18.54.173 07:58, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

Not to whack you upside the head too much, but if you list something at WP:SPLICE and also use {{db-histmerge}} it helps us a lot if you remove your request from SPLICE once it's dealt with. Hopefully it won't happen much, but please remember that in general you're in some sense responsible for discussions you open and it's helpful if you close them when they're done so that folks like me don't spend too much time checking up on something that isn't an issue anymore. The article at Redhouse Yacht Club has been substantially improved. I'm not the original author, but saw it at AfD and thought it might have some merit. A few of us have reworked the article with independent references and removed a bunch of trivia taken from the Club's website. I beleive this now meets WP standards as a subject which is noticed nationally wihtin South Africa and to some extent internationally in specialty racing circles. I'd appreciate your feedback.

And can cite now a quote from wikiquote and another page with quotes and videos of when it was first mentioned on television. I will try to find more. Hopefully the admin will look carfully at the page itself too, because a lot of the Delete comments are from before there were any references, and the page was tiny and badly written, or worse at least! -- QuintusMaximus 18:34, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

Anti-vandalism tools
Hi, would you be so kind to advising me what tools you use to revert vandalism? Currently I have a number of articles in my watch list and its becoming a bit of a pain to keep on-top of the amount of vandalism directed towards those articles. I feel that I may be choosing the long method when I discover articles vandalized. I would first undo it if it’s the last edit that is considered vandalism, if not I would keep going back until I find a clean edit and revert back to it. Then I would send the culprit(s) a warning message from the list of vandalism pre-sets by a cut-and-paste to the individuals talk page. I find this a long an arduous process that takes some time to revert and send warning messages. Do you know of a simpler or single step tools that accommodates vandalism removal and to advise to individual of their actions. Thanks in advance to responding to my request. --HJKeats 18:46, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

Re: Vandalism patrol
I wrote these messages myself, they don't follow the "levels", which I don't see the need for anyway. There's a warning, and a final warning, and after that I report them to AIV.
If someone blanks a page and writes "Penis" three times, are they realistically going to stop if you issue a third warning, or would it be better to just report them and get them blocked as soon as possible? (It's a rhetorical question).
If I've warned someone before and they vandalise again, I leave them a final warning. If they still haven't figured it out by the time they've read that, then they're not going to contribute constructively. It's the administrator's call in the end, but by this stage they deserve to know. Remember that users often manage to vandalise two or three times between warnings.
And yes, those of you who seem to enjoy imposing petty rules are being too bossy. I just warned myself by mistake (the buttons are like right next to each other) and not only was it reverted, I got told to go and read the policies! Spend your time dealing with problem users, not picking at us. Thanks – Qxz 20:08, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
Another couple of questions
Sorry to keep wasting your time, but you gave me a lot of help before and I hoped I could ask you how I'm doing, in terms of progress towards adminship. I did what you suggested in hanging around RfAs (I even voted on two of them this morning), and it still seems to me that although I've more-or-less met all the other requirements for adminship, the insurmountable difficulty is still my low editcount. Take a look at User:Grubber's current RfA; despite being a great user, trustworthy, with good knowledge of policy, he's been opposed because he "only" has 2400 edits. I only have about 1400 at present, and I have no idea how I can bump up my editcount any faster; due to technical reasons I can't use VandalProof or anything else that has to be downloaded. Other than that, though, I think I'm doing well on everything else; I've got quite a good proportion of WPspace edits (mostly comments on AfDs) and, if it wasn't for the annoying phenomenon of speedy-delete-tags disappearing from the editcount once the pages are deleted, I'd have a significantly higher editcount. What do you think of this as a potential answer for the all-important Q1? (I've seen that this is where a lot of candidates fall down.)
- What sysop chores do you anticipate helping with?
- I would expect to participate in closing XfDs (on which I currently comment extensively); speedy-deleting articles; working on AIV and blocking vandals (as a recent changes patroller I see a lot of vandalism); semiprotecting pages. Having access to the "rollback" button would also be useful in cases of repeated vandalism to the same page.
Although I'm not planning to go to RfA for another month (by which time I should have 1800-2000 edits), do you think the answer above would be OK? And do you think it's worth going to RfA at all, given some users' pedantic insistence on a high editcount? Walton monarchist89 11:24, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
- OK, fair enough, I'll have to handle Q1 on my own. But it's difficult to be expected to "not worry about adminship"; however much all the policies state that it shouldn't be a goal, reward or status symbol, the fact is that when some users have powers and privileges that others do not have, those of us who are not admins are going to be jealous, and feel like second-class citizens. This isn't the fault of admins or the community; it's a fundamental human imperative. Your advice is helpful and fair, but I can't help the fact that I really, really want to get through RfA. I've really started taking Wikipedia more seriously in the last couple of months; I clocked up 646 edits in January and 94 on the first day of February alone, mostly vandalism patrol (I now scrupulously follow the policy of warning vandals on their talkpages, which should also look good at RfA) and commenting on XfDs. But as my editcount is a problem, I'll wait until I've achieved 2,500 to 3,000 edits. Looking more closely at RfAs, many of the candidates who fail due to low editcounts are also criticised for inadequate responses to q1 and for lack of system experience outside of vandal-fighting; since I've addressed these last two concerns, I think 2,500 edits should be enough to give me a good chance. Hopefully I should reach that level in late March-early April, so I'll self-nominate at that time. Once again, thanks for all your help. Walton monarchist89 12:29, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

Tis a little small isn't it... maybe I should make it larger? — Deon555talkdesksign here! 04:25, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

Anoka High School Add
Confused why this add was declined. All other schools in the district are on here and only have sources to their school website. I sourced Anoka High School's official website as well. Why would a News source be as accurate? Plus St. Stephen's School was declined as well. I was trying to add to the school database that you guys already have up. I would appreciate it if you could look at them again and approve them. Thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.9.36.48 (talk • contribs)

Please help with Bella
Hi. i left a message on the Bella (film) talk page but i did not get any direct feedback on ideas to improve the page. The only response was someone saying they agree with the original claim that the article was advertising. I do not understand this because all of the links to articles and reviews are from very credible 3rd party sources. Can you help with this? Also, as you know there is an advertising banner on my page- what do you recommend i do? Thanks for all of your help. Seanwolfington 03:48, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
Re WP:IFU
Hello Delldot, I have noticed that you declined a request on WP:IFU and then erased it. The proper way to decline a request there is to use the templates on Wikipedia:Images for upload/Templates as instructed on the page. Anyway, Thank you for helping us maintain WP:IFU.--Natl1 (Talk Page) (Contribs) 02:08, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

Hey, I noticed you accepted the request for Frank Sicoli at WP:AFC. Did you really create the article? I had previously declined the article because I thought it read too much like an advertisement, but the IP removed my declined templates. If the article has been created, I think it may need to be deleted under CSD G11 unless it gets a major rewrite. Can you reply on my talk page? I'd like to see the article, but Frank Sicoli is still a red link. Thanks much, delldot | talk 02:26, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry but I can't seem to find this article in my recent contributions. The only articles I have accepted in the last 48 hours were Watson Interferometer and Corona Schröter. Perhaps this was another editor or you meant one of these other articles? Furthermore it appears that the article you mentioned was already speedily deleted. --24fan24 (talk) 04:47, 5 February 2007 (UTC)--24fan24 (talk) 04:37, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
- Whoops, sorry about that; you were impersonated. I should have figured it out earlier, since I knew that IP was the one to remove my declined notice. Anyway, sorry for the hassle. I'll revert and warn. delldot | talk 05:00, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

Hi! Thank you for your offer of adoption - I'm not sure if the program is right for me, as I don't generally have a lot of time to spend on wikipedia, but I'd appreciate your feedback on my Van Jones page and will soon (fingers crossed) have time to complete the Ella Baker Center page and be looking for feedback. Hey Delldot,
I just would like to thank you for your support in my recent request for adminship, which passed with a final tally of 54/13/11. I appreciate the trust expressed by members of the community, and will do my best to uphold it.
Naturally, I am still becoming accustomed to using the new tools, so if you have suggestions or feedback, or need anything please let me know. - Gilliam 21:10, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

- Hey! Thank you so much for your comments/suggestions.
- Thanks re the Van Jones article - I'd like to expand it with more of his history & current endeavors, but it's okay as-is I think. I'll check out the criteria for living people and if I do edit it again I'll fix up the footnotes.
- Thanks re the messages!
- It's fine that the Ella Baker Center image was removed - I was experimenting in what it meant to upload photos and exactly how it was fair use and I uploaded multiple photos accidentally. I don't think there's any problem now.
- I was not actually aware of WP:COI officially, but I am now. I am actually a former Ella Baker Center intern, and I know that they had needed a WP page - is this too much COI? I've certainly never been paid by them or anything. I do also know Van Jones, though not very well.
- Re the Ella Baker Center website - I know it's in bad shape, and I apologize. I am trying to edit it today. I do have Ella Baker Center permission to use the text (and will follow the guidelines you've explained - thanks!) but the tone/POV/bias needs lots of work. I'm editing the history right now and I also will work on going through and getting 3rd party references.
- So anyway, I'm on your suggestions - thanks so much!
- If you could, would you check out the Ella Baker Center history I'm rewriting and give me feedback when you get a chance? I'll put it on the EBC talk page. Thanks! -Jen3774 22:24, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

- What a flurry of messages back and forth! Thanks so much for all this and of course no worries about the edits - I was perhaps a bit (too) eager to get info up, but I'm certain on top of the editing, I'm just busy. A few questions:
- 1)Does the article still read like an advert?
- 2)Does the history info, despite my editing, still require written copyright permissions from EBC? I can get them, and they're aware I'm writing this, but I'd almost rather just rewrite it.
- 3)I know the history section needs references - forgot to mention that I want to get the rewording/POV done first. Is the way I posted it to the talk page okay though?
- That's all for now - I want to get this done! Also, noticed you mentioned Food Not Bombs - that's great! You still active? Anyway, thanks. -Jen3774 22:44, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

Ella Baker Center - Review?
Hey DellDot - I've done a bit of review of the Ella Baker Center page and asked a aquaintance in Oakland to review it as well. If you have time, could you take a look? Check it out here or, if you can't get to it right away and the aquaintance gives it his "thumbs up", I might ask him if he thinks it's fit to put it back over on the Ella Baker Center page. Hi. I was wondering if you've considered applying for adminship. I was quite surpsrised when I found out you weren't one, and I'll gladly nominate you if you're willing. :)--Wizardman 18:21, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
Wizardman would like to nominate you to be an administrator. Please visit Wikipedia:Requests for adminship to see what this process entails, and then contact Wizardman to accept or decline the nomination. A page has been created for your nomination at Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Delldot. If you accept the nomination, you must formally state your acceptance and answer the questions on that page. Once you have answered the questions, you may post your nomination for discussion, or request that your nominator do so.

Vandalism patrol
Following your earlier suggestion and suggestions from a few others, I've written another couple of warning messages to fit in with the four "levels" that are in common use. So I'll use the equivalent of a "level 3" warning where applicable – though I'll still generally skip over level 1 in the case of obvious vandalism, as I don't think it's necessary. I've also been told to put the warning level in a comment after my message, which I've done, and to be careful when warning vandals that I'm not warning them for an edit which predates the previous warning. (I've extended my vandal-fighting software to keep track of when users edit and when they are warned, so it now yells at me if it thinks I'm doing something wrong, thereby saving you people the trouble).
Anyway, further suggestions would be most welcome; sorry if I sounded a bit annoyed before. It was hardly your fault that someone else pounced on my inadvertent self-warning, and you have much more experience with these things than I do – Qxz 19:53, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

Hi,
Thanks for suggesting that I work on my new page in my userspace before taking it live on the site. Just to confirm -- the draft I'm working on in User:Ted nw/sandbox would be visible only to me?
Does such a "userspace sandbox" get purged periodically, so I might log on and find that it's empty?
By the way -- is this what you meant by "Let me know on my talk page if you have any questions or want to discuss anything."

Action Park article discussion/ email address
Thanks for your concern about the email address. I considered doing something like that myself but really haven't been having much trouble with spam lately. Maybe that is because I don't usually post my email address on-line.
I would be appreciative if you could do one more thing. I understand the issues about content and am working to resolve those in an acceptable manner. I wish the two people involved paid more heed to the reliablility of the sources, which they have sort of admitted are dubious. I think they are sticking with them so closely because if they threw out the dubious sources they would have none left. I guess this is just part of the culture that I am not yet accustomed. I don't expect you to get involvced in that part of it.
What I would be curious to hear what you have to say about is whether you think the article violates the NPOV policy. I think that some simple edits could make it much more neutral without getting into NOR issues. Several other people have complained on the talk page of the article about this but the editors do not appear to be willing to even discuss the matter. I've read about the conflict resolution process but I don't think I want to push these guys too hard since I am hoping to sway them on the other factual stuff once I have sources for it. I'm thinking some nudging from an impartial more experienced wikipedian might get them to reconsider (assuming, of course, you are willing and agree).
Anyway, thanks again. 69.255.59.191 05:16, 18 February 2007 (UTC)Chris

Hey there. I would prefer it if you let me finish the job and warn the user. It's just a waste of my time if I try to warn them only to get an edit conflict because you've done it at the same time.

Hey
I wasn't vandalizing the Fall out Boy page, I was simply putting in the truth about Pete Wentz. It's not fictional, all that was compiled by an interview of Tim from Rise Against.
Formatting
Hi Delldot, I'm getting up to speed on Wiki formatting. One thing that eludes me is . I want to include some references to articles that are located outside Wikipedia. I see that other articles include the tag, but I have not been able to find into on how to use this. It seems like there must be a separate references file or page, and this tag automatically incorporates content from there.
Is there a help page that covers this?
Thanks.Ted nw 20:12, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
Incorporating References
Hmm, reading over my message I see that the tag I referred to has vanished. That must be a clue. The tag I'm talking about consists of a < at the beginning, a > at the end, and the word "references" followed by a slash inside. As I said, I'm trying to figure out how the incorporation of this tag can make a References section magically appear at the end of my article.
Editor review request
Hi Delldot, I remember you from RFA, and I see that you keep tabs on the Editor Review page. If it's not too presumptuous to ask, I'd like you to do an editor review of me. My name is at the bottom of the * stack at WP:ER, and I think I've "earned it" by reviewing a half dozen other folks. Best regards, YechielMan 06:44, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Hi Delldot. Thanks for all of your help. It appears another smart editor improved the page based on your comments. However, there are a few things that are inacurate. I wanted to ask you to correct these items if possible? 1. The first comment was that i sold Automark and Cyber Car to HAC Group and then it was aqcuired by Reynolds. This is not true. I founded Cyber Car and Automark which both were under the the holding group named HAC Group which was acquired by Reynolds. 2. The One Media group is a media investment company that owns half of the film "Bella" and the other half is owned by a film production company i own called "Metanoia Films" along with my partners that are listed on the page. Overall, the page seems to be tighter and much improved as a result of your help. Thank you. By the way, we are screening the film on March 13th in Miami if you want to attend the private screening.
