Ok, well, you are probably wondering about me since you are here, so I am going to try to sum myself up since you took the trouble to look at this page.

If I had to use one word to describe myself I would use the word 'paleoconservative', it sums up most of my political and social persuasions in one word.

I believe in Jeffersonian Democracy and Free Speech, except that I draw the line when it comes to paedophilia being promoted as some how acceptable. In general, I follow the rule that if you don't like it don't read about it or support it, or to use the old saying, "vote with your feet".

To the religious question I would classify myself as Agnostic theist, most people don't understand what this means - especially so if they are Christian - so I will explain it: I believe in a higher being but I am not willing to institutionalise G-d by going to church, nor am I willing to accept one religion as perfectly 100% correct. My reasoning for this is that I cannot imagine a human being understanding perfectly what G-d has intended for us, so any knowledge imparted would be at least partially lost in translation.

Could we understand a cigarette lighter if we were cavemen?
