I am a housing and human rights activist and work with local housing and homeless advocacy groups, Food Not Bombs, and Amnesty International. I'm a freegan. I'm an EMT. I volunteered at a rescue squad for a few years, but for some of that time I was on school leave and only riding the ambulance during summer and winter breaks. I wrote an undergraduate thesis about excitotoxicity in head trauma and am a self-identified brain trauma geek.
