[edit] Artist name?

iTunes detects the artist field for this album as "Deltron" instead of "Deltron 3030." Which one is right? --69.212.99.191 20:43, 27 Nov 2004 (UTC)

"Deltron 3030" is correct. If iTunes was trying to claim Del himself as the artist, they'd have said "Del Tha Funkee Homosapien" or at least is pseudonym for this project "Deltron Zero". As Far As I Know: There's nothing out there that's just "Deltron"--Bluejuh 04:34, Apr 29, 2005 (UTC)

Freedb's database of albums recognizes the album as "Deltron 3030" by "Deltron" as well. I personally find this understandable. Considering that Deltron [Zero] is Del Tha Funkee Homosapien's futuristic alter-ego, if you will, and it is set in the year 3030, you wouldn't expect the artist's name to be "Deltron 3030," rather, you'd expect the album itself to be named "3030." This idea is backed up by the fact that on the album cover, "Deltron" and "3030" are in different text sizes. Also, there is a track on the album named "3030," and many albums are also named after a particular track on them. However, the album is more of a collaboration of Del, Automator and Kid Koala than a solo album by Del. And almost all web sites and stores will tell you that it is named Deltron 3030 (including this very article.) Conclusion: it's just a misinterpretation. Maybe the Freedb should have the artist name edited? --220.236.204.74 12:34, 1 May 2005 (UTC)

There is no specific artist name for this album because it is a collaborative project of several artists. Deltron 3030 is both the album name and the artist name as the group is a one off project, although there are rumors of a second project by the core group (Del, Dan "The Automator" and Kid Koala)

[edit] Language in "The News"

Does anyone have any idea what language the lyrics are for "The News (a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of Microsoft Inc.)", or what they mean? 69.205.44.163

It's me again -- the Deltron 3030 album page lists Hafdis Huld as the artist on The News, and googling this person reveals that she is from Iceland. Thus, it's Icelandic! I still don't know what it means, though. 66.114.70.80

I added the compleat cast. Unfortunetly some of them I think will need help with links and it might need to be streightend outPwright329
