I put cleanup here mainly for two reasons: #1. I couldn't find anywhere in the internet information about where the flight was coming from, and #2, I know there is a category for airplane accidents but I don't know the name of the category.

I gotta go get some sleep. Good night! God bless and thanks for your help.

[edit] Corrected

I have revised this article with the correct flight number (723, not 173 as previous) and added a reference to the originating airport. I don't know how to correct the headline.

Oct 25, 2007:

I want to thank Wikipedia for creating this page. I lost my mother in the Tuesday, July 31, 1973 Delta airplane crash in Boston. Thirtyfour years later, my son was returning from overseas on a Delta flight on July 31, 2007, a Tuesday. Needless to say, I was extremely concerned for his safety that my wife and I feared that something "wrong" might happen to him. Some called it a premonition. On July 31, 2007, we received a telephone call at 3:00 am from a relative with some bad news. Our hearts just sank. My son was okay; it was my father that just died. Later that evening, when my son returned, I kept his July 31 "Delta" flight ticket as a memorial.
