Deluxe (Xoel López) is a Galician alternative rock musician from A Coruña, Galicia (Spain). His main languages are English and Spanish. He has toured in Spain and taken part at Festimad, Festival Internacional de Benicàssim (2002, 2003 and 2005), Sonorama, Contempopranea, Espárrago Rock, Festival do Norte... It has toured with Juan Aguirre from Amaral. He has also taken part in Laboratorio Ñ, a Spanish-Argentinian musicist camp with Iván Ferreiro, Amaral and Quique González among others [1]. He has also toured in Germany in the North Rhine-Westphalia land during the 2006 FIFA World Cup [2]
His first records have been recorded under Mushroom Pillow records, but he is currently recording a new album, 'Fin de un viaje infinito' (End of an Infinite Journey) under Virgin Records. His record Los Jóvenes Mueren Antes de Tiempo was considered the best of the year 2005 by the Spanish edition of the Rolling Stone magazine [3]].
He has a very good rapport with Portuguese band The Gift (band), having each one opened for the other [4], [5]
