Delta Arietis (δ Ari / δ Arietis) is a star in the constellation Aries. It also has the traditional name Botein which is derived from the Arabic buţain, dual of بطن baţn meaning "belly".
Delta Arietis is an orange K-type giant with an apparent magnitude of +4.35. It is approximately 168 light years from Earth and its diameter is 13 times that of the Sun.
