Delmar Senior High School, is a public high school in Delmar, DE, a community in Sussex County, Delaware. The school is co-located with Delmar Middle School, along with the district offices. Delmar Senior High School's enrollment includes students from Delmar, MD and 51 students from other cities under Delaware's School Choice program. However, because of the great number of students enrolling into the school and the lack of sufficient space for the growing population, Delmar has had to decline enrollment to kids who live in other cities. Total fall 2006 enrollment is 550 students, with 1071 students total for both schools. The current school building was built in 2000, though the original building was built in 1928. Expansion to the school has been completed as of last Thursday. A new wing has been added to the middle school and the cafeteria has been expanded and now holds approximately seventy additional students.
