Delay spread

Delay spread is a type of distortion that is caused when an identical signal arrives at different times at its destination. The signal usually arrives via multiple paths and with different angles of arrival. The time difference between the arrival moment of the first multipath component (typically the Line of Sight component) and the last one, is called delay spread.
