Delaware Township is one of nine townships in Hamilton County, Indiana, USA. As of the 2000 census, its population was 28,268.

Delaware Township covers an area of 15.79 square miles (40.9 square kilometers); of this, 0.28 square miles (0.73 square kilometers) or 1.78 percent is water. The streams of Britton Branch, Cheeney Creek, Delight Creek, Eller Run, Home Run, Light Branch, Smock Creek and Weaver Creek run through this township.
