Delaware Route 404 Alternate was an alternate alignment of Delaware Route 404 that bypassed the town of Bridgeville in Sussex County, Delaware. It ran to the north of Bridgeville on Newton Road and to the east of Bridgeville on U.S. Route 13. The alignment of Delaware Route 404 Alternate was replaced by Delaware Route 404 itself in 1999. The route of Delaware Route 404 in Bridgeville then became known as Delaware Route 404 Business.
