Del Shores (born December 3, 1957, in Winters, Texas) is an American film director and producer, television writer and producer, playwright and actor.

Shores has two daughters from a previous marriage. He is reportedly married to his partner and co-producer, Jason Dottley, since 2003, although it is not clear if they actually married in a state where same-sex weddings are recognized. [1]

In September 2007, Shores headed into pre-production on 12 new episodes of Sordid Lives.[1]
