A 5'11" running back-kickoff returner from the University of Utah, Rodgers was the first thousand yard rusher in Utes history. From 1982 to 1985, he played for the Packers. After a one year absence from the league, Rodgers came back and played two seasons for the San Francisco 49ers from 1987-1988 and was used primarily as a kickoff returner.
