Dekato(branded as "dekato") is a web-based company that helps individuals and organizations make better decisions. Dekato launched a blog, the Decision Age, on May 5, 2008. Dekato, Inc. is a privately owned company based in Silver Spring, MD.

Dekato, Inc. was founded by Keith Ashe, a former management consultant. Keith previously worked as a consultant in Booz Allen Hamilton Modeling and Simulation team and the Corporate Executive Board's IT practice. Booz Allen Hamilton split into a two separate entities after he left the firm: Booz Allen Hamilton, the government practice and Booz & Co., the commercial practice. He developed of decision tools for leaders in the public and private sectors.

The Decision Age blog was started to share information about problem solving and decision making. However, the future of technology and the web are discussed as well. The term "Decision Age" is meant to refer to the next phase beyond the Digital Age (also known as the Information Age). It is not clear whether or not Keith Ashe coined this term. The current version of the web is often referred to as web 2.0 while the next iteration is being called web 3.0, web x.0, or the Semantic Web. The Semantic Web...

The author of the decision blog contends that we will arrive at the Decision Age when the performance attributes of the decision-making process are exponentially increased. The CEO and Founder indicates on the blog that a website will be launched in the summer of 2008.
