[edit] Your edit to Special relationship

Hi. Much of what you added is uncited. Statements such as "The US pressured the UK Government to agree to an unequal extradition treaty" certainly needs a citation. Could you provide some references when you get a chance? Thanks Mark83 17:18, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Milos

I particularly enjoyed your eloquent edit in the Melian Dialogue part of the article on Milos, though I think you should take into account that it may be a bit too much for a layman consulting Wikipedia. I will not edit it myself, I just wanted to let you know my opinion, just in case you come up with something even better.--FocalPoint 07:56, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Beaumont College

I'm sorry for not getting back on the chat I promised you on the article. I'm presuming that you will pursue this, so here goes:

The article you wrote was much better than the one currently, I think we both agree on that. Apparently the problem then was that there was copyright infringment and the article was deleted. The problem now is that I can't verify any infringment because the url cited is now a deadlink (the situation occured nearly two years ago). As an admin, I can view the page, so I'll see if I can merge the deleted info (not the exact text) into the current article. Sr13 06:51, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

The merge is complete, I think. Sr13 06:20, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Shaw's Passion Play

I placed reference to it at the beginning of the section, linking it to the article. Although genuinely interesting, I believe you gave too much importance to a minor portion of Shaw's colossal work.

Shaw was not an "unbeliever". He rejected the theologies of Christianity and other religions, but he believed firmly in a "Life Force" which benignly directed evolutionary development. Wugo 12:48, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Gallóglaigh

Hi Deipnosophista. My user name comes from the lesser used Anglicisation of the above. Gallowglass is too associated with the book of the same name and its modern connotations. Hope this answers your question. Cheers Galloglass 00:12, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Duplicate images uploaded

Thanks for uploading Image:Deipnosophista 11 11 07.JPG. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:War memorial Beaumont.JPG. The copy called Image:War memorial Beaumont.JPG has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 21:14, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Falklands War

While much of your efforts have improved the article, I would just draw your attention that you placed a [reference required] tag in the middle of a direct quote from a source. Justin talk 22:36, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

I'd corrected it already, just thought I'd make sure you were aware of it (if only to prevent the same mistake twice). Justin talk 23:57, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Dr_T_P_O'Sullivan_c_1966.jpg

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Dr_T_P_O'Sullivan_c_1966.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Nilfanion (talk) 21:08, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Award 1977

Hi Deipnosophista,

I (tried to) translate(d) the de:Schiedsgericht im Beagle-Konflikt using Babelfish and improved some things.

But the result is still not ready for publishing.

Could you take a look and correct the text?

Feel free to change, delete or add text, or ask questions if the text is unintelligible.

Thanks for your time, --Keysanger (talk) 15:38, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
