This low resolution image is used in Degenerate Art, an article about a notorious Nazi exhibition of art considered degenerate by the Nazis and by Adolf Hitler. It shows Hitler visiting the exhibition as well as Adolf Ziegler a leading Nazi artist. It is a historic occasion and therefore of considerable benefit to the reader to be able to see this image. The creator of the photograph is unknown, and it is considered that this will not cause commercial harm to the original author. It is believed that this is fair use and does not infringe copyright. There is no known free alternative available.
According to section 107 of the United States Copyright Act of 1976 :
