Reasoning: The common and official English title for this position is Defense Minister - Security Minister is just a literal translation of the Hebrew. The new title is also consistent with List of Defense Ministers of Israel. Number 57 10:28, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

  • Support - Seems to be in more common use with some quick google tests. --Cheers, Komdori 01:50, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
  • Support - This is so obvious that there can be no reasonable excuse for opposing. --GHcool 05:30, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
  • Support - As GHcool mentions above, this should've been listed under the "non-controversial" moves. In any case, "Defense Minister" is the common name and it is consistent with other articles in the Wikipedia. --Kimontalk 14:06, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
