Defeat Autism Now (DAN!) is a network of physicians, researchers and scientists who first came together in 1995 under the auspices of the Autism Research Institute (ARI) to share information and ideas towards the goal of defeating autism as quickly as possible through educating parents and clinicians about biomedically-based research and treatment options in autism spectrum disorders.

They sponsor a yearly conference of researchers, scientists, and physicians, and in 1996, Defeat Autism Now! (DAN!) participants released a manual entitled 'Biomedical Assessment Options for Children with Autism and Related problems', and have developed a "Defeat Autism Now (DAN!) Protocol," which lays out the Defeat Autism Now! (DAN!) preferred treatment options as well as listing DAN!-recognised doctors.
