[edit] Happy birthday, and thanks!

Happy belated birthday, and thanks for looking into that IP. :) (ps, as for 'suspected, the IP is in the heading ;)) Raena 13:32, 26 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks...

...for the birthday wishes, and happy belated birthday to you too! FireFoxT [14:11, 26 March 2006]

[edit] Summon magic

Hey, Deck. Thanks for some help with the wording over in the sandbox. I've finished making a draft for the inclusion of Summon Magic, but I fear I may have made it too long. I think it might be okay to have done that, though, because of just how prominent Summon Magic is to Final Fantasy. See what you think, and thanks again. Ryu Kaze 18:45, 26 March 2006 (UTC)

P.S. I'm going to include an image of a summon to make that section look a little better. Ryu Kaze 18:47, 26 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] New user page design

Hope you like it! Please let me know if you want any changes. :) Cheers, Sango123 (e) 23:45, 26 March 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the Barnstar! All the best, Sango123 (e) 01:42, 27 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Star Wars WikiProject

The wikiproject has been slowing down. We probably need to do something to increase interest again. Jedi6-(need help?) 04:09, 27 March 2006 (UTC)

Maybe that style page of yours will peak interest? Jedi6-(need help?) 03:28, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
Another problem is the fact that no one votes or helps out with the collaboration of the week or the selected article voting anymore. Jedi6-(need help?) 03:39, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
I wanna find out how the video game WikiProject has stayed alive. Maybe we are just at a low point. We might follow Star Wars hype so right now nothing is being released so not many care. But almost half out articles were created after Episode III came out. MAybe it will peak up in June when the Legacy of the Force releases? I'll have to think about it. Jedi6-(need help?) 03:48, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
Another problem is the fact that over half the Wikiproject's members are new users who don't edit much or worse, actually vandalise articles. Jedi6-(need help?) 20:16, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Amrita Rao

I'm going to unsprotect this now, since it's been several days since you protected it. Since WP:SEMI is for dealing with serious current vandalism, I think this is probably long enough: most people get bored after a few hours. Can I ask you to take a cruise through your protection log and see if you have others that got left protected? Also to remember to lift protections as soon as possible in general. Thanks. -Splashtalk 21:15, 27 March 2006 (UTC)

Yup, check out the spiffy 'e' on my sig. :) GfloresTalk 00:13, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] need help with the season five page

hey. are you watching 24? I need you to add infomation about the side story with Wayne Palmer. I missed that part. thanks. dposse 02:51, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism

Why do people like vandalising your user page so much? Jedi6-(need help?) 03:34, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] My user page

Thank you for the reverting the vandalism done to my userpage. tv316 03:37, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks!

Hey Deckiller, I'd really like thank you for taking the time to vote at my RfA. I withdrew due to certain controversies, but I appreciated your vote and hope to see you here in the future. Thanks again. --Khoikhoi 05:08, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Collaboration of the Week

Image:Star Wars Tie-Fighter-Vaders.jpg You showed support for the Star Wars Collaboration of the week.
This week The Jedi Academy trilogy was selected to be improved to featured article status. We hope you can contribute.

[edit] Star Wars WikiProject Idea

I have an idea. We should pick one article to make into a featured article. Then we make it the collaboration of the week. We can send messages about it to all the participants talk pages telling them about it. With everyone wroking on one article the activity should increase. Also we have a better chance of getting the article featured if we all work together. What do you think. Jedi6-(need help?) 20:20, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

But which article should we choose? Jedi6-(need help?) 20:44, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
Or one of the movies. Jedi6-(need help?) 20:51, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
Its a good idea but we probably should focus on getting the main WikiProject activity up before we create children projects. Also remember we already cross into other Wikiprojects territory like Literature, Films and Videogames. Jedi6-(need help?) 20:56, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
But if you look at the Final Fantasy projects they don't have much membership. Maybe we could have separate style guidelines and a section where you could put your name as being knowledgable in a particular area. We could do as you say and make separate areas/projects but have it all in the main WikiProject page. I think actually separating it is a bad idea. Jedi6-(need help?) 21:35, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
Should we do it like a videogame section and a movie section, ect. or movie and expanded universe section? Jedi6-(need help?) 04:11, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

Should we do option A or B. Jedi6-(need help?) 04:15, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

  • Option A
    • Novels
    • Videogames
    • Television
    • Comics
    • Movies
  • Option B
    • Characters
    • Plot
    • Other
Hay I know. I realized User:The Wookieepedian, User:Tutmosis and User:Dark jedi requiem are all on a Wikibreak so that is one reason activity has been down. We could also have one for the Collaboration of the Week and the Star Wars Portal. Jedi6-(need help?) 04:19, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
There is an idea. (You're still in school, What happened to Spring Break?) Jedi6-(need help?) 18:46, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Nintendo Revolution

Deckiller could you undo User:Ericjraack's move of Nintendo Revolution to Nintendo 2006 and Nintendo Revolution (Fall 2006). Jedi6-(need help?) 21:08, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

What I want to know is how he moved the pages. He has less than 25 edits. Jedi6-(need help?) 21:17, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
According to Wikipedia:Vandalism#Types of vandalism you have to have at least 25 edits. Jedi6-(need help?) 21:28, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, 25 edits to get away with the move. Any logged in user can move a page, though the 25 Edit Rule is often applied (and it should really be applied in this case). If he does it again, I'll give him a warning. — Deckiller 22:30, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
There's actually a waiting period. It's like 4 days or so, not based on edit count, I don't think. GfloresTalk 02:07, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Important AfD

  • The article for the G10 Group of Prestigious Canadian Universities is up for Deletion, please go and support Education related articles in Canada. This is a very important group of schools, Canada's version of the Ivy League, and it needs your support! -- pm_shef 04:05, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Vibroblade

I've started an article on Vibroweapons there. Xolatron and I agreed to make a rough draft first, so I just dumped it on his subpage. I was going to ask, could you evaluate it please? As its my "big" stub, and I have no clue whether it is acceptable or not. Thanks! :) M o P 18:12, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks!

Thanks Deckiller for patrolling my page while I was out I'm requesting a Semi-Protection for my page being that I seem to have a Wiki-Stalker Thanks Again, Mahogany-wanna chat?

[edit] User talk:216.191.40.138

Deckiller, this was the first time I ever asked for a block for vandalism, and I'm confused by the output. The user (or rather, the IP) in question now has 5 vandalism warnings on his talk page, 3 of them being the "last warning". Yet the user wasn't blocked for his latest vandalism today on Toronto French School, you gave him another "last warning". Why was that? (Note: I'm not angry, I'm simply trying to better figure out how the process works.) Thanks! --Stephane Charette 20:02, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] User page

Can I semi-steal/borrow/take with asking the format of your user page? Jedi6-(need help?) 20:22, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Star Wars WikiProject Participants

We probably should do a check on all the participants. Some of them haven't edited since the project began. I actually saw one where their only edit was to join the project. Jedi6-(need help?) 00:25, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks

That LC vandal sure seems to like my bots talk pages, thanks for reverting :) -- Tawker 02:09, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Jedi6

Just to warn you I will not be here for the next two days. Jedi6-(need help?) 02:57, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] User 64.233.196.222

The user in question was not contributing under an AOL account as you had presumed per an ARIN search. The tag was added by another anon, from a similar address. You're doing a great job, but please look into matters more carefully in the future. The vandal is probably long gone or operating covertly under a proxy/sockpuppet - who knows. --Jay(Reply) 02:57, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

And as I just checked, you got to it fast. Thanks. --Jay(Reply) 02:59, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks

Keep the block on my User:Xchrisblackx username Deckiller I am in the process of regaining my account so please protect it for now!
