[edit] Atrocities

About the new section Decima Flottiglia MAS#Participation in the Italian Social Republic: How many men were in the Axis part of the Decima at this time? How many people did they kill? What part of Italy did they affect? Is their part in this enough to justify keeping the {{Fascism}} tag which someone inserted? Anthony Appleyard 15:54, 22 December 2005 (UTC)

I inserted that, it seems to me quite obvious. The Xª MAS is definitely one of the main symbols of the Italian Social Republic, and were used in generic actions of terror and partisan repression in northern Italy. I am documenting myself to expand the section, I have found some sources but I have to finish to read them. --Orzetto 19:29, 22 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] List of events

I reverted this back to a plain list, which is easy to read through. I see no justification to change it into essay style with perpetual literary "varying the expression" making it difficult to look for any one desired bit of information and its date. (I kept the new links about the submarines Iride and Gondar.) Please leave it like that. Very many history texts have plain lists of events. Anthony Appleyard 23:00, 22 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Event?

September 1943: During the long siege of Leningrad, a group of Russian commando frogmen entered a German naval base at Strelna near Leningrad and destroyed combat boats of the 10th Assault Vehicle Flotilla (Decima Flottiglia MAS).

--

Again once again total bullshit from wikipedia, maybe Mr. Putin was writing this? The MAS boats of this flotilla were sold to finns, every single one and they certainly were not destroyed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.248.159.240 (talk) 16:11, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
