Decio Azzolino

Decio Azzolino (the younger), April 11 1623 (Fermo, Italy) - June 8 1689 Rome, Italy. He was the son of Pompeo Azzolino and Giulia Ruffo who, in 1654, after receiving his doctor's degree in philosophy, juridics and theology at Fermo University, became cardinal of Sant'Adriano al Foro (Curia Julia), Rome. He was the leader of the free thinking movement Squadrone Volante as well as Christina of Sweden's representative (and secret lover?) within the Catholic Church.
