Deception Bay State High School is a co-educational, state run high school located in Deception Bay, Queensland, Australia. The School services the Deception Bay area's high school students.
The school first opened its doors to students in 1992.
As of 2006, there are approximately 700 students enrolled in the school. The acting school principal is Mr. Jim Box. The school motto is "All Students will learn well". The school has four different sport team houses, Cawley, Bradman, Elliott and Gould. The school also has a soccer/futsal development program for those who have talent and are interested in the sport.
In July 2008, well-known Victorian Physical Education teacher and fitness inspiration, Peter Hunt, will commence a six month exchange program with the school, where he will introduce his critically acclaimed "Phitness for Life" program.
