Deccan Lanka

Deccan Lanka is a start-up low-cost airline based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. It is planning to start scheduled services from Colombo to cities in south India, and to Dubai, Sharjah and Singapore, using Airbus A320 aircraft.[1].

The low-cost airline was established in December 2005, although until now Deccan Lanka has been a helicopter charter operator. It is owned by Deccan Aviation (48%), Favourite Group (48%) and other investors (4%)[1].
