Hi.  :-) I have just been looking at your carapace image, which you uploaded in May 2007.

I just wanted to say that it is unusual for a picture like this to be in JPG format - having only three basic colours, an indexed colour format (such as PNG or GIF) would be more typical. It would give better quality without making a huge file size, and would also allow a transparent background. If you still have the master copy of this image (e.g. as a bitmap or in PhotoShop format) then you could export it as a PNG or GIF. PNG would be better than GIF, given the choice.

I notice also your summary says "Modified from several sources." If you have modified someone else's work then do make sure you have their permission to release the modified form into the public domain! Leevclarke (talk) 22:49, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
