[edit] Copyvio?

This looks like it may be a copyright violation. Many of the sentences appear to be directly lifted from here. Or perhaps another page at Llewellyn or? Please make sure that your contributions are original or the page will have to be deleted. —Hanuman Das 18:19, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

You are accusing the editors of this article of copyvio? I think you shoould retract that and apologize. Flinders 13:05, 26 August 2006 (UTC) This user was found to be a sock of Mattisse

No, it's a partial copyvio, all right. Partial and whole sentences have been cut and pasted from her about me page. From [1]. You can't just copy/paste and change a word or two. Let's compare:

article About me page words different
High Priestess in 1986, and has been teaching Wicca and running Pagan circles ever since. High Priestess in 1986, and has been teaching Wicca and running Pagan circles ever since. 0
As an active "out of the closet" member of the Pagan community, Deborah has appeared in various media, most notably on the A&E documentary Ancient Mysteries: Witchcraft in America. She has also appeared on MSNBC, in The New York Times, and in many smaller TV and print sources. These copyvios are still in the article. If you go back to the version I commented on [2], there are more:

How about you apologize to me...

[edit] To upgrade article plus copyvio issue

There are a range of Wikipedia sources that can help you out. All articles must meet WP:V. To learn how to a proper citing style, consult WP:CITE. For what kind of external links are acceptable, WP:EL is a useful set of guidelines. Also, the issue of this being a copyvio should be addressed. Good luck! GBYork 18:24, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sorry About That

I removed the clipped section about her publications and made it into an informational section without the copied text. Rosencomet 19:55, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
