An immediate predecessor of this article, Deborah Mell (which now redirects here), was previously deleted by uncontested proposed deletion (article log). Accordingly, this article is ineligible for proposed deletion.

However, since Mell now has the notability of being a candidate for statewide office, since her election currently appears probable, and since the article is sourced, she meets WP:BIO, so deletion shouldn't be an issue anyway. —C.Fred (talk) 16:01, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
