As of 1991 Bangladesh census[1], Debidwar has a population of 336877. Males constitute are 50.33% of the population, and females 49.67%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 158356. Debidwar has an average literacy rate of 35.1% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. [2]
