Debenham Peak

Debenham Peak (67°21′S, 50°26′E) is a peak, 1,140 m, lying south of Amundsen Bay in the Scott Mountains, about 7 miles (11 km) east of Mount Cronus. Discovered in January 1930 by the British Australian New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition (BANZARE) under Mawson, who named it for Frank Debenham. The peak was more accurately positioned by ANARE (Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions), 1954-58.
