Debelt Glacier

The Debelt Glacier (Lednik Debelt \'led-nik 'de-belt\) sits on Livingston Island draining the southeastern slopes of Vidin Heights into Moon Bay between Edinburgh Hill and Helis Nunatak. The glacier extends three km in an E-W direction, and 1.5 km in N-S direction.

Named after the settlement of Debelt in Southeastern Bulgaria, successor of the ancient town of Deultum.
