Debden Park High School is a mixed school situated on the Debden Estate in Loughton. On average, there are 800 students on roll. The school was awarded specialist status as an Arts College in performing arts. The school took part in an artistic based tour of Italy in the summer of 07. The school provides plenty of entertaining clubs and activities such as drama club and trampolining.

The new head teacher was assigned in April 2007 to replace old Head Michael Moore. Mr Cavanagh has been favoured over Michael Moore who people felt had less control over students and caused the school to go into special measures.

The current head boy is Arron Baldwin and the current head girl is Helen Todd. Who have done a brilliant job over the year and who are to be replaced by Megan Lawton And Maxwell Rogers
