Born in London, UK, I became interested in Dubstep, Garage and Grime around 2003 after a few very close friends started DJing. I used to buy Grime and bits of Dubstep / Garage from Big Apple Records. As the years past I practiced DJing and producing, as well as graphic design, programming and website coding. In 2006 I started a weekly radio show on Sub FM which I am still doing to this day. By the end of 2007 I have become more confident with my productions and have been playing them more frequently.

In 2005 I changed my personal website into a small database of mixes following the close of Dubway's website. Sometime in 2006 the website was improved by changing the design and webhost and grew to become Barefiles.com. Many hundreds, even thousands of people started listening to Dubstep after they heard a mix from my website. The website still functions for free receiving support from it's online shop. My aim is to give everyone a fair chance of promoting themselves by allowing users to submit mixes which I upload to the site when I can.
[edit] Bare Dubs
In 2006 I launched Bare Dubs records which was created to support Barefiles.com. The main idea for this label is just like the website to promote producers who either need more exposure or have not had previous releases. The first 3 releases were limited edition 10" records. I wanted people to think of Bare Dubs as "many dubplates" because the majority of Dubstep dubplates in 2006 were cut onto 10" records. Making it easier and quicker for each release to be made I had to make the decision to press each release onto 12" records with 3 tracks.
