Dean Douglas DeLuca (Born August 26, 1967) is a novelist. Dean's first book titled "The Fen's Gate", published in 2008, recieved great reviews from many notable writers. Dean graduated from North Andover High school in 1985 and then went on to graduate from University of Massachusetts in 1991 where he was a member and captain of the Snow Ski Racing Team. The team was ranked third in the country twice during Dean's Tenure. Dean was ranked 16th in the country during his senior year.
Dean has won many writing awards and has been contacted by Hollywood (Dreamworks Studios) to produce a screenplay for making a major motion picture titled "The Fen's Gate". Dean is currently working for Life Is Good in Boston Massachusetts while writing his second novel yet to be titled.
Dean's Father Joseph DeLuca Jr. passed away on Sept 9, 2001. He worked as an actor on broadway in New York City for many years but is best known for brief appearances on Beretta, a weekly one hour Private Detective show in the 1970's staring Robert Blake . Dean's mother Cheryl DeLuca and brother Joseph John DeLuca III currently live in Myrtle Beach. Joe works for Jimmy Buffet Enterprises and Cheryl works as a hairstylist.
