Talk:Death Glider
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I'd question wether or not the "Needle Threader" is really armed with staff weapons or not. As can be seen in Into the Fire, as it comes in to destroy the last turret, the energy blasts... or projectiles at first have a steeper trajectory when fired and then arches upwards slightly to hit the target dead on. Any thoughts?
[edit] Original Stargate gliders
I seem to remember the Stargate gliders being open-cockpit, i.e. no roof over the cockpit. Can anyone confirm? LD 19:54, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
You're right, the gliders seen in the movie did have an open cockpit. Just one of many little(and sometimes, not-so-little) diffences between the movie and SG-1. Sehvekah 23:36, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Goa'uld name
Does anyone know the actual Goa'uld name of the Glider? I remember in the films and Bill McCay's novels it was referred to as the udajeet, but that may have just been the Abydonian name for it. I ask this because the other craft have distinctly alien names; Ha'tak, Al'kesh, Tel'ak, etc. Ghetto Gandalf 04:05, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
To my knowledge, their Goa'uld name has never been revealed in any canon source, the novels being a different continuity from the series and movie. JBK405 13:56, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
