At the moment this page is quite vague, not really giving any indication where Deantown is/was within Edinburgh. Is it an alternative name for the settlement commonly known as Dean Village? A google search returns a couple of references to Dean as Dean Town. Another alternative location that the search provided was the old mining community in Whitecraig, East Lothian just outside Edinburgh. Caledonian Place 05:52, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
