I don't see how this page meets the criteria for speedy deletion as the band is being signed by a major label and has previously released other albums independently. XanaX (talk) 18:46, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

The band must have released two or more albuns signed by major labels, see WP:MUSIC for bands.Victao lopes (talk) 18:49, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
But it doesn't matter, anyway, now that someone else removed the tags. Too bad so many people use Wiki this way, and even worse that other people support this. Good luck with your article. Victao lopes (talk) 18:53, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
The band is certainly borderline as to notability criteria, however in addition to the 2 albums (of which only one is signed by a major), the song Hail to the Geek has been licensed for and has featured in TV shows and has gained significant success. If a criterion has to be met clearly, I might add that Virgin Radio Italy (a national network) has placed it on rotation.
As to your comment about how people use Wiki, so many people (like myself I suppose) make mistakes because an inexperienced user can't be expected to know the details of the requirements their contributions must meet, especially when they reasonably believe that the community will benefit from them.
