This is an official sticker from the band Grateful Dead's merchandise page. It was found at the above link. The same symbol (also known as "Steal Your Face") was found on the inside cover of the album Grateful Dead (album) along with an address to attract Deadheads (fans of the band) to send in their information. It has been uploaded to provide as critical commentary on the Deadhead page.

[edit] Fair use for Deadhead

This image, DEAS012.jpg, will be linked here; though the picture is subject to copyright I (MOE.RON talk | done | doing) feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:

  1. it does not limit the copyright owner's rights to sell the sticker in any way;
  2. copies could not be used to make illegal copies of the sticker for other reasons;
  3. it is used to illustrate the subject in question, i.e. Deadheads.
