Death Piggy

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Death Piggy were an American punk band, formed in 1982 in Richmond, Virginia. They flourished briefly and were then fully absorbed by GWAR in 1985/1986. They put out a few '45s (some limited to 301 copies) and had a small yet loyal following.

Their best performances included concerts at Shafer Beach, an apartment on Grace Street, and a backyard on Floyd Avenue. They were also known to have played alongside the Butthole Surfers and the Dead Kennedys in their earlier years. The remaining copies of their music are rare and are known to go for up to $103 on eBay.
