Dearham

Dearham is a village and civil parish in Cumbria, Northern England.
Dearham is near the coast and houses higher up can see views of Scotland and/or the Lake District fells. Apparently Dearham is reputed to be the longest village in England as it stretches practically to Maryport, which is the nearest town. There are four pubs in Dearham, a post office/corner shop, a pizza/kebab/fish and chip shop, a hairdressers, 2 churches, a petrol station, a primary school and the locally well known pie shop. There is a great brass band in Dearham. There is a Dearham carnival in July each summer.
