The Dean of Liverpool is based in Liverpool, UK and is head of the Chapter of Liverpool Cathedral. The current Dean is The Very Reverend Justin Welby.
Past Dean, the Very Revd. Dr Edward Patey, described being the Dean of Liverpool as having "the best job in the Church of England".[1]
