Dean Williams (born 5 January 1972 in Lichfield, Staffordshire) is an English football player who currently plays for Stafford Rangers as a goalkeeper.
Dean started his career when he signed for Birmingham City F.C. on schoolboy forms at 14. When he left school he was accepted as a trainee footballer on the YTS system and made first team appearances during this period and going onto full time term at age 18 he remained at the club until Terry Cooper's arrival when he cleared out everybody.
Dean played against Manchester City F.C. in 2002/03's UEFA Cup qualifiers conceding just the two goals at the Millennium Stadium.
Dean featured in the Aberystwyth Town FC squad that played against Dinaburg (of Latvia) in 2004's UEFA Intertoto Cup. He remained at Aberystwyth Town until midway through the season. He left Aberystwyth Town for Stafford Rangers.
