Dean Wendt

Dean Wendt is an American voice actor.
He is best known for his voice acting of "Barney the Purple Dinosaur" on the hit children's show Barney & Friends, from 2002 to present.
Dean Wendt was a Disc jockey on Radio Disney from 1996 to 2001, but left the company in order to dedicate his time to voicing "Barney" after Bob West's decision to retire in 2002.
His voice has appeared in various other Barney media, such as concert tours around the world. He has appeared in such shows as "Barney's Beach Party LIVE ON STAGE!", Barney's Colorful World and Barney Live The Let's Go Tour.
His voice sounds similar to Bob West's voice in Barney and the Backyard Gang
