Dean Walton was a fictional character in the Degrassi: The Next Generation drama series.
He first appeared in a 2002 episode as an 18 year old member of the soccer team for a rival school against the Degrassi Panthers. One of the Degrassi students, Paige Michalchuk (who was 15 at the time), had a crush on him. During one of his parties, Paige hit on him, and suggested they go to the room upstairs. Dean accepted, and he asked if she wanted to have sex. Paige, not ready to lose her virginity, said no. Dean ignored her, and engaged in sexual intercourse, ignoring her request. Paige couldn't fight him off, and she was raped.
In season 4, Paige took him to trial, but due to the lack of evidence, Dean was found not guilty. Later at a party, Paige took her boyfriend, Spinner Mason's car, and crashed it into Dean's automobile. Dean later tried to pin it on Spinner, but Paige confessed, losing her license. Dean attends the same college as Marco Del Rossi, Ellie Nash and Paige's brother Dylan Michalchuk.
